2021:
18 July - 27 July
For canoe enthusiasts, photographers, gold seekers and everybody who is looking to relax in some remote and pristine country. Find solitude among the mountains of the McQuesten River.
This tour ends after 5 days away from any civilisation at the Klondike Highway river bridge, close to McQuesten River Lodge. The fishing here is excellent, especially for Arctic Grayling. Chances are good to see moose, wolves and both grizzly and black bears.
The river is suitable for ambitioned beginners who would like to learn some paddling skills while we are on the river. There are no rapids but some tight corners and sweepers to make things even more exciting. After we arrive at the take-out, we will be shuttled to Dawson City and spend a day there to explore this historic and interesting town.
