North Klondike Highway

The North Klondike Highway connects Whitehorse to Dawson City, and is the northern half of the highway that runs between Skagway with Dawson City. Until the 1950s, road conditions from Whitehorse to Dawson were poor, and the drive was usually reserved for only the most hardy travellers. Today, the North Klondike Highway is paved and makes for a relaxing, scenic drive north.
