By paddle and portage - more than 2,000 kilometres of canoe routes and over 1,900 campsites await those who seek the rugged beauty of Algonquin Provincial Park. Additionally, Algonquin has three backpacking trails which also probe the heart of the backcountry.
In Algonquin you can take a canoe out on your own and plan your own route in the park for as many days as you choose or you can join an escorted canoe trip of between 3 and 5 days with a mixture of camping and lodge stays.
Algonquin Log Cabin
Enjoy home cooked meals, bonfire dinners and warm hospitality - all catered to your taste at the Algonquin Log Cabin. The cabin is in the northwest corner of Algonquin National Park, and offers rustic charm with 12 twin rooms sharing indoor washrooms as well as a sauna and shower cabin.
No experience is neccessary for most of our 3 and 5 day adventures.

Trip 2) 5 Day guided Algonquin Canoe Trip-deeper into Algonquin
Departures June and August from £699 per person
Algonquin Park’s northwest corner is famous for its rolling hills, great trout fishing and beautiful lakes. Our five-day canoe trip travels “one-way”, east to west, through the northwestern and more remote sections of the park. You move at a relaxed pace through some large lakes and generally slow moving stretches of river, with lots of time for wildlife viewing, hiking and backcountry exploration.

Four nights camping accommodation, car hire from Toronto, tasty meals, all group equipment, park permits, Kiosk shuttle and services of a wilderness guide.
Trip 3) Pathways of the Algonquin 3-day Algonquin Log Cabin Guided Adventure
Departures May to October from £425 per person
Guided canoeing, wildlife interpretation, and hiking with cosy Log cabin accommodation.
Price Includes:
Car hire from Toronto, two nights log cabin accommodation (double occupancy) at the Algonquin Log Cabin, all meals, equipment and services of a wilderness guide. Fully guided excursions include: arrival to the lodge via hike and paddle, evening sounds of Algonquin excursion, sunrise moose viewing paddle, interpretative wild hike, campfire dinner and stargazing and use of canoes.
Trip 4) 5 Day Canoe and Lodge Adventure
Departures June to August from £729 per person
Featuring 3 days guided canoeing/camping in Algonquin Park and 2 days at the Algonquin Log Cabin.

Car hire from Toronto, four nights accommodation (two nights camping, two nights lodge - double occupancy) all meals for five days, all equipment and excursions, and services of wilderness guides throughout five days. Self guided adventure program with deluxe private chalet suite.
